Job Description
The position of Corporation School Bus Driver runs a full day schedule, both morning and afternoon runs. This would be a consistent, daily schedule. After-school extracurricular trips may also be available (@ $17.50/hr. with a 4-hour guarantee).
Job Responsibilities
The Corporation School Bus Driver will be serving Waldron Elementary, Junior High and High School routes.
Job Qualifications
• Must be at least 21-years-old.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and extended background check.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical.
• Must hold a Class “B” CDL with Air Brake, Passenger, and School Bus Endorsements.
• Must hold an Indiana School Bus Driver Certification (Yellow Card).
• Maintain consistent attendance and timeliness.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with students who have a variety of needs.
• Attention to detail, quick learner, willingness to learn new skills.
• Prefer a candidate with prior experience but will offer paid training to qualified candidates.
