We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques such as buffing and industrial cleaning methods.
- Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
- Handle waste disposal efficiently by emptying trash receptacles and ensuring proper recycling procedures are followed.
- Maintain outside grounds
- Help with snow removal-shoveling
- Wash windows, inside and outside
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly.
- Assist with floor care activities including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing to preserve flooring quality.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning processes.
- Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is advantageous.
- Knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment operation, and safety protocols related to custodial work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent organizational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently.
Pay: $15.38 per hour
