What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cost Accounting/Payroll/Accounting position at Shelby County Community Services, Inc.?
This can be part time or full time (24-40 hours/week). Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, minimum of Associate degree in Accounting. Typical hours 8:00-4:30. Responsibilities include:
● Assist and perform monthly bank reconciliations
● Track and analyze cost of materials, labor, and overhead costs
● Collaborate with the Executive Director and Accounting Supervisor to provide cost accounting reports for requested departments.
● Assist with physical inventory counts
● Support audit processes by providing requested documents
● Any other tasks assigned by Lead Accountant or Executive Director
This position reports to the Lead Accountant and is an accounting role in the business office.
Pay: $23.00 per hour
