What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI Technologist position at SHELBY COUNTY CHRIS A MYRTUE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL?
SCHEDULE: Full-time; 40 hours per week; Monday- Friday
The MRI Technologist operates the MRI scanner to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. Based on departmental needs, performs diagnostic X-ray exams, and shares in departmental work. The MRI Technologist will maintain a thorough understanding of radiology procedures, anatomy, and medical imaging technology to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. The MRI Technologist will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to facilitate effective diagnostic evaluations using advanced imaging modalities.
This position is supported by grant funding that allows for flexible recruitment and retention incentives.
