What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic Float Nurse position at SHELBY COUNTY CHRIS A MYRTUE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL?
SCHEDULE: Full-time; 36 hours per week; Four days per week; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday; 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
The Clinic Float Nurse is of prime importance in helping the medical provider respond successfully to the increasing demands for his/her services. He/she is the essential link between the medical provider and his/her patients, professional associates and equipment and medical suppliers. She/he delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The Clinic Float Nurse assists in the patient teaching activities and maintains the standards of a professional nurse. He/she performs various laboratory and radiologic procedures and is responsible for the documentation of the results of these.
