Long-Term Substitute General Education Paraeducator Needed
Location: Shelburne Community School

Shelburne Community School (SCS) is seeking an energetic and caring Long-Term Substitute (LTS) General Education Paraeducator to join our middle-level (Grades 7-8) team. The anticipated start date for this role is April 27, 2026, and it will continue through the end of the 2025-2026 school year.
We are looking for a dedicated individual to provide vital support to our teachers and students within a collaborative environment of approximately 75 students and 6 adults.
Primary Responsibilities
- Working directly with individual students and small groups both in and outside of the classroom to promote growth and foster independence.
- Assisting teachers with various projects and clerical work to ensure a smooth learning environment.
- Helping students stay on track as they transition between classrooms and different activities.
- Fulfilling daily lunch and recess duty requirements.
- Acting as a positive team member and strong collaborator within the 7th-8th grade middle-level team.
