About the Position
Job Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management
1. Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes to ensure optimal efficiency and accuracy.
2. Develop and implement warehouse operational strategies, policies, and procedures to maximize productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards.
3. Manage warehouse layout optimization, space utilization, and workflow design to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
4. Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
5. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, productivity metrics, and cost per unit to drive continuous improvement.
6. Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology solutions to streamline operations and improve data accuracy.
7. Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, and transportation teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs.
8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies while maintaining a safe working environment.
9. Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party logistics partnerships to ensure service level agreements are met.
10. Develop and execute capacity planning strategies to accommodate business growth and seasonal fluctuations.

1. Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse staff including supervisors, coordinators, and warehouse associates to build a high-performing team.
2. Prepare and present operational reports, budget proposals, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
3. Drive lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste and enhance operational excellence.
4. Coordinate with IT teams on system implementations, upgrades, and troubleshooting to maintain operational continuity.
5. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives that impact warehouse operations and overall supply chain performance.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
2. Minimum 8-10 years of progressive warehouse and distribution operations experience, with at least 5 years in senior management roles.
3. Proven track record of managing large-scale warehouse operations with annual volumes exceeding $50M and teams of 50 employees.
4. Extensive experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and advanced warehouse technologies.
5. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
6. Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, demand forecasting, and supply chain optimization strategies.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills with experience developing and mentoring diverse teams in fast-paced environments.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in data analysis tools and performance metrics interpretation.
9. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, DOT compliance, and warehouse safety best practices.
10. Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to interact effectively with senior executives, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
