Position Summary
The Inbound Project Specialist supports the execution of inbound optimization initiatives by serving as the primary liaison on the warehouse floor. This role is responsible for gathering operational feedback, driving process adoption, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with internal teams and 3PL partners to deliver scalable, standardized inbound operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Inbound Process Optimization – Support the development and implementation of standardized inbound workflows (receiving, put away, quality inspection) across internal warehouses and 3PL partners
- System Enhancement – Coordinate inbound system improvements, including appointment scheduling, automated check-in/reporting, carton labeling, size sortation, and exception handling mechanisms
- On-the-Ground Execution – Serve as the primary point of contact on the warehouse floor, gathering feedback, identifying gaps, and reporting findings to leadership
- Adoption & Compliance – Drive adoption of new processes and ensure compliance with established standards across all sites
- Cross-Functional Coordination – Partner with internal teams and external 3PL partners to facilitate smooth operations and escalate bottlenecks
- Performance Tracking – Monitor KPIs, document process performance, and provide actionable insights to support continuous improvement
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field
- 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain project management
- Hands-on experience with inbound operations (receiving, put away, vendor compliance, inventory management)
- Experience working with WMS/WCS systems and driving process optimization
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel)
- Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Bilingual (English/Chinese) is a plus
