Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time Senior Labor Management Specialist to support our warehouse and logistics operations. This role is hands-on and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaboration, and is committed to delivering outstanding employee experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee relationships with external staffing agencies, acting as the primary authority on vendor management. Design and implement robust tactics to push agencies toward significantly higher standards and productivity goals.
  • Leverage deep "insider" knowledge of agency operations and recruiting mechanics to identify blind spots, driving initiatives that substantially improve the quality and caliber of incoming associates.
  • Serve as a strategic leader bridging Agency, HR, and Operations teams. Develop and execute strategic approaches to tackle complex, systemic workforce issues, ultimately strengthening the internal team's capabilities.
  • Design, establish, and continuously optimize standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for enterprise-level supplier management and accountability.
  • Lead the analysis of comprehensive HR data (turnover, attendance, engagement). Generate advanced data reports to forecast workforce trends, manage process indicators, and deliver high-level strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Oversee the financial validation process, ensuring meticulous accuracy in supplier billing by auditing attendance, timesheets, and rosters against complex invoices.
  • Partner closely with senior campus leadership to spearhead special Operations and HR initiatives. Provide authoritative suggestions regarding workforce planning and proactively resolve escalating issues.
  • Champion compliance with labor, employment, and workplace safety regulations. Oversee ADA accommodations, complex employee relations related to agency staff, and ensure strict adherence to rehire eligibility standards.
  • Bring an authoritative presence to the team, with the potential to mentor junior staff and lead large-scale recruiting initiatives across multiple operational sites.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in HR, staffing agency leadership, or vendor management within warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or high-volume operations environments.
  • Proven experience orchestrating large-scale recruiting efforts, managing high volumes of clients/recruiters, or demonstrating authoritative leadership in vendor management.
  • Demonstrated track record of moving beyond tactical execution to solve complex, cross-departmental (HR/Ops/Agency) challenges strategically.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality, influence senior stakeholders, and lead through ambiguity.
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and workforce planning tools/software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage with different stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments.
  • Use data insights to refine labor strategies and drive continuous improvement in workforce planning.

Preferred Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (UKG and ADP strongly preferred).

Benefits and Culture

  • Healthcare (medical, dental, vision, prescription drugs)
  • Health Savings Account with Employer Funding
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare and Dependent care)
  • Company-Paid Basic Life/AD&D insurance
  • Company-Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability
  • Voluntary Benefit Offerings (Voluntary Life/AD&D, Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness, and Accident)
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Business Travel Accident Insurance
  • 401(k) Savings Plan with discretionary company match and access to a financial advisor
  • Vacation, paid holidays, floating holidays, and sick days
