Job Description: Customer Service & Inventory Associate (Full-Time)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Overview:
Sheffield Pottery is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused team member to support customer service, inventory management, and daily office operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by phone, email, and occasionally in person.
- Process customer orders, answer product questions, and recommend solutions.
- Receive inventory, enter purchase orders, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Stock and organize ceramic tool rooms and inventory.
- Maintain organized office records and assist with inventory reporting, COGS analysis, and other administrative tasks.
- Work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with team members.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Shopify, and standard business software, or the ability to quickly become proficient.
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to lift and stock inventory as needed.
- Ceramic or pottery knowledge is a plus, but not required.
- Dependable, professional, and enjoys contributing to a collaborative team environment.
