What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Real Estate Site Selector - Richmond, VA position at Sheetz?
Location: Sheetz Corporate - Altoona, PA
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Assist with the process of locating and researching the BEST locations in an assigned market area to insure the long-term growth and financial success of the company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned)
- Assist the Senior Site Selector to identify the suitability of potential sites.
- Present findings to Senior Real Estate Site Selector and collaborate to determine viability of site.
- Assist Senior Real Estate Site Selector; negotiating agreements with owners by adapting tactics based on the needs of the targeted audience.
- Attend agency meetings with the Real Estate Site Selectors to gain experience in obtaining various approvals for future sites.
- Perform market analysis to support the company’s growth strategy in key markets including but not limited to demographics, competition and traffic.
- Provide support as needed to the Real Estate Department to achieve the organization’s real estate growth goals.
- Collaborate with Sheetz Analytics team and Regional Director of Real Estate to identify areas of opportunity for growth within a market.
REQUIREMENTS: (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)
Education
- 4-year degree in Business, Communications, or related field required
- Minimum 1 year commercial real estate related experience or internship preferred
- Valid Driver’s license required
- General Office Equipment
