Analyzes consumer data and research to identify trends, key indicators, patterns, and insights. Assists in developing and conducting focus groups, surveys, competitor intelligence studies, and industry research to support corporate initiatives, strategy development and business unit strategy. Uses market research and statistical methodologies and tools to perform analysis. Performs data collection, input, and aggregation processes to develop and maintain informative research.
Responsibilities:
- Create reports and collaborate with the team in the analysis of different research projects, including surveys, focus groups, and customer or employee intercepts
- Works with department leadership to assist is development of quantitative and qualitative research instruments
- Contribute to individual projects, either from beginning to end or entering in the middle of a project – this may include sample procurement, questionnaire/guide development, qual data collection, quant scripting, back-end analysis, and presentation development
- Support collection of secondary research on areas impacting our strategy, informed by the PESTEL (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environmental, and Legal) framework
- Monitor the market and competitive intelligence realms to help identify new and relevant techniques and tools
- Assist in managing day to day operations of consumer and employee panels
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Business, Marketing, Market Research, Economics or related field required
- Master’s degree in Business or Market Research preferred
Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a market research role, either professional or as part of a graduate program required
- Exposure to qualitative and quantitative methods required
- Previous experience with DIY survey platforms preferred (e.g. Qualtrics, Quantilope) preferred
Licenses/Certifications

- Online Survey Software experience preferred
- Experience with data visualization tools preferred
