New Home Interior Painter (Intermediate Level) - Full Time

Job Overview
We are seeking an intermediate-level Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential painting, and an understanding of construction practices. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively on various projects. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets high standards of craftsmanship.

We are looking to find someone who is eager to grow in their painting skills. We will provide additional training and knowledge along with providing the tools needed on-site each day. Jobs change each day and provides a variety of learning opportunities. All painting jobs are interior new-homes, no external or commercial paint jobs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Perform minor drywall repairs and caulking tasks as needed.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
• Work well in a team environment as well as individually while staying on-task.

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to travel to different job locations daily (Sand Lake/Sparta and Caledonia/Middleville , and occasionally Big Rapids).
• Must have a cell phone.
• Must be proficient in English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
