Sheet Metal Company is a well-established company that has a full-time employment opportunity for a Sheet Metal Former and Operator in the sheet metal roofing and HVAC industries. We are seeking an energetic, dependable, self-motivated individual for steady year-round employment. Applicant should be organized, punctual, and possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license with a clean MVR. We pride ourselves in providing great customer service before and after the sale.
Applicants must have experience in the following areas:
- Experience in roofing sheet metal & HVAC is preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English; in Spanish is a plus!
- Excellent skills in math, communications, and managing projects in the most efficient process, which includes being familiar with the job specifications, daily correspondence, shop drawings, and all other documents related to the projects.
- General Computer Skills (e.g., Bendex, Data Entry, etc.). Training will be provided to use Bendex.
Job requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Speaking with shop employees and customers (i.e., contractors and HVAC companies) regarding job projects and their status.
- Learn to use a CNC brake and use / program a CNC Plasma Table. Willing to train the right candidate.
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal projects according to building blueprints and drawings.
- Able to use hand tools for constructing and assembling job tasks.
- Must be able to drive a forklift and help teammates complete job tasks on a daily basis.
- Must be able to lift and/or move items over 50 lbs and team lift items over 75 lbs when needed.
- Must be able to work Monday – Friday from 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM. May occasionally work past 4:30 PM to finish paperwork and/or overflow of job projects when needed.
Compensation includes an hourly wage of $20.00 per hour (DOE) and a monthly profit-sharing opportunity. Benefits include:
