Descriptive Summary
Security Officers with Sheepdog Protective Services are tasked with a multitude of duties and responsibilities. Security Officers are expected to maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, customers and employees by patrolling and/or monitoring premises and personnel of clients of Sheepdog Protective Services.
Core Functions
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Prevents loss and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
- Controls traffic by directing drivers
- Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
- Maintain a safe environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
- Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Be on-call as assigned.
- Other assigned duties.

Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
License/Certifications:
- Valid driver's license (Reliable Transportation)
Probationary Period:
30 to 60 day probation period
