Automotive Service Manager (Lane Manager)

Sheehy Lexus of Richmond is seeking an experienced Service Lane Manager who is motivated and committed to their career in this highly competitive industry. Responsibilities

• Managing the service department while supervising service advisors to ensure they meet the service objectives and expectations of the role
• Train Advisors to greet every customer that enters our facility with hospitality and the highest level of respect.
• Train Advisors to present the best solution to properly repair our customer's vehicles in a way that is easy for them to understand.
• Manage the store's workflow effectively and efficiently.
• Train Advisors to possess the ability to sell our services consistently and effectively without jeopardizing honesty and integrity.
• Maintain a positive attitude and team atmosphere at all times.
• Always use the phone professionally to create a long-term relationship between the store, yourself, and the customer.
• Prepare business goals for each month and for the year.
• Act in a professional manner that reflects the quality organization you represent. Always project an attitude of honesty and integrity.
• Direct, coordinate, and participate in performing customer service activities as dictated by workload.
• Ensure that all work is performed to the proper specifications.
• Assist other employees as needed.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Five years of related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Graduation from an industry-recognized training program is also preferred but not required.
• Reynolds and Reynolds experience or similar DMS proficiency preferred
• Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Authorized to work in the USA
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check, Motor Vehicle Record check, and drug test.
• Must have a valid driver's license
