Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Life Enrichment Aide to join our team. This part-time position plays an important role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning, hosting, and assisting with engaging activities and events. The ideal candidate enjoys working with older adults and is committed to creating meaningful experiences that promote socialization, entertainment, and resident well-being.
Schedule
- Every other Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Every Tuesday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Every Thursday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, organizing, and hosting resident activities and events
- Encourage resident participation and engagement during programs
- Set up and clean up activity spaces before and after events
- Provide support to residents during activities as needed
- Assist with holiday celebrations, special events, and community gatherings
- Foster a positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all residents
- Work collaboratively with staff to ensure successful programming
Qualifications
- Experience working with seniors, in recreation, activities, customer service, or healthcare is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic personality
- Must be able to assist with activity setup and light physical tasks
