What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gluer Operator - 3rd shift Monday - Thursday 3pm-1am position at Sheboygan Paper Box Company?
SUMMARY
To learn all the aspects of the Finishing Department procedures involving all the mechanical functions of the machinery involved.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Training to maintain, run and set‐up Finishing Department machines to include:
a Domino 110
b Alpina w/Easy Feeder and Cartonpack II
c Masterfold w/ Easy Feeder, Batch Inverter and Cartonpack II
d HHS gluing system on the three gluers
e Heiber Schroeder window machine
2. Have knowledge and ability of packing and feeding procedures.
3. Training how to run both hot and cold melt gluing systems.
4. Being able to manage your crew to run efficiently
5. Checking quality of product to ensure no defects in the carton
6. Able to drive PIVs
7. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Gluer operating experience preferred.
Salary : $2 - $24
