What You’ll Own
As the Automotive Detail Team Lead, you will be responsible for both hands-on detailing work and leading daily operations of the detailing team.
Leadership Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and motivate a team of detailers to maintain high performance and morale

Set daily priorities and assign work to ensure efficiency and deadlines are met
-
Perform quality control checks to ensure all vehicles meet dealership standards

Train new hires and continuously develop team members’ skills
-
Partner with service, sales, and management teams to ensure smooth workflow
-
Identify process improvements to increase speed, quality, and consistency
Detailing Responsibilities
-
Wash, wax, and buff vehicles to a high standard

Clean interior and exterior windows, vacuum, and scrub interiors
-
Detail engine bays and apply protective treatments

Apply tire and trim dressing
-
Utilize professional-grade cleaning products and tools
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What We’re Looking For

Prior automotive detailing experience required

Leadership or team lead experience preferred (or strong desire to grow into leadership)

Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work

Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and lead by example

Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Positive, accountable, and results-driven mindset

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
