MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Previous experience in student transportation or Routefinder Software.
2. Familiarity with Skyward Student and Financial information systems.
3. Familiarity with Sheboygan and Manitowoc County roads, streets, schools, and
daycare provider locations.
EMPLOYMENT TERMS:
This position will involve 8.0 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 12 months per
year. The starting rate for this position is $16.70 per hour.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain and update student bus transportation records (Daily).
2. Manage, maintain, and upgrade Routefinder, Infofinderle, Viewfinder software, and
operating systems.
3. Act as a liaison between parents and bus contractor.
4. Work with bus contractor to establish and maintain bus trips for public, private, and
charter regular education, special education, and summer school students.
5. Ensures communication of bus information to contractor, schools, parents, and
students.
6. Review and process bus contractor invoice for payment.
7. Identify bus stops for new subdivisions.
8. Analyze data and long term trends to inform strategic decisions, predict future
operational issues, and develop preventive solutions.
9. Assist in responding to parent and community transportation concerns.
10. Assist in coordinating student transportation for all school closings.
11. Assist in responding to, following up, and reporting on all bus incidents.
12. Provide technical problem solving and support across various channels (phone,
email, and in person) for complex issues.
13. Maintain and process parent paid transportation contracts using Skyward Financial
system.
14. Coordinate with principals and bus contractor two yearly bus evacuation drills.
15. Assist in maintaining written detailed student transportation procedures.
16. Provide boundary and bus trip optimization scenarios to ensure the most efficient
use of District funds for student transportation.
