Shearz Institute is a growing Cosmetology, Barbering, and Esthetics school dedicated to developing future beauty professionals through hands-on training and real client experience.
We are seeking a professional, outgoing, and organized team member to support both our front desk operations and admissions efforts during evening hours.
Position Overview
This team member is responsible for managing walk-in client flow while also supporting student enrollment efforts through tours, follow-ups, and lead engagement.
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in growing into an Admissions Representative role.
Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk / Clinic Operations
- Greet and check in all walk-in clients
- Manage client flow and wait times
- Assign clients to students (with educator guidance)
- Process payments (cash, card, etc.)
- Maintain service tickets and client records
- Keep front desk and waiting area clean and organized
- Support closing procedures
Admissions Support
- Conduct basic tours for prospective students
- Follow up with leads via calls, texts, and emails
- Respond to inquiries about programs and enrollment
- Assist with capturing and organizing lead information
- Support Admissions Representative with daily tasks
Qualifications
- Strong communication and people skills
- Comfortable making calls and sending follow-ups
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in the beauty industry or education is a PLUS
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong PLUS
Pay: $20.00 - $26.10 per hour
