What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/Groomer Assistant position at Shear Perfection by Pet Spa?
Growing Royal Oak based salon is looking for a groomer assistant to come join our team. It is a great opportunity to learn dog behavior and different breeds and coat types. Dog experience is preferred, but not mandatory. We will train you!
This person needs to have love and compassion for all types of dogs at all ages. The position requires good multi-tasking and time management skills, the ability to self-motivate and pay close attention to detail. Duties include greeting clients, client check-in/check-out, booking appointments, keeping the shop tidy, occasional bathing of dogs and assisting the groomers.
We are looking to fill 2-4 shifts per week. Applicants must be available some Saturdays/Sundays. Shifts start at 6:45am and end around 3pm(hours will vary by day).
Pay is based on performance.Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
