Duties

• Deliver expert hair styling, cutting, coloring, and hair extension services using current techniques and color theory principles
• Perform skincare treatments and body waxing to enhance client appearance and confidence
• Apply makeup for special occasions or photo shoots with precision and creativity
• Provide nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, and nail art to complete the guest’s look
• Manage retail sales by recommending products tailored to client needs
• Maintain strict sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Engage actively with guests through excellent customer service skills; listen attentively to understand their preferences and deliver personalized treatments
• Promote our services via social media management efforts to attract new clients and retain existing ones
• Assist at the front desk with guest check-ins, appointment confirmations, and answering inquiries to ensure smooth daily operations
• Stay current with industry trends in hair styling, makeup application, barbering techniques, tattooing (if certified), and other beauty innovations

Skills

• Proven expertise in cosmetology with certifications in hair styling, esthetic treatments, nail care, eyelash extensions, body waxing, and other relevant specialties
• Strong management skills for scheduling appointments efficiently and overseeing daily salon operations
• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members; ability to educate guests on product benefits and treatment options
• Demonstrated customer service excellence with a friendly demeanor that fosters guest loyalty
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness in all treatments
• Experience with social media management for marketing purposes; creating engaging content that highlights our services and promotions
• Ability to perform advanced treatments including dermabrasion, dermal fillers, esthetic laser procedures, tattooing (if certified), deep tissue massage (if qualified), and med spa services where applicable
• Skilled in retail sales techniques with an emphasis on upselling complementary products or treatments confidently without pressure
• Competence in color theory for effective hair coloring techniques; proficiency in hair extensions application; mastery of barbering skills including straight razor shaves where relevant
• Strong organizational skills for managing front desk duties alongside technical service delivery

Pay: $18.00 - $36.00 per hour
