Role Description
This is a part-time or full-time remote position for a Structural Design Engineering Intern. The right candidate would be available to work part-time during the school year and full time when schedule allows. In this role, you will assist in designing residential and commercial structures, create detailed technical drawings using Revit, and collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop innovative solutions for structural challenges. You will also contribute to the analysis and assessment of projects, supporting the team in meeting local environmental and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently earned a degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field
- Strong skills in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
- Ability to analyze structural requirements and collaborate on technical solutions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to innovative design challenges
- Self-motivated with a desire to continuously learn
- Basic knowledge of seismic and snow load criteria is a plus
- Experience with Revit is a plus
