Construction Safety Manager

What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee daily safety activities for structural steel construction operations
- Monitor steel erection, crane operations, rigging, and material handling activities
- Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Support and enforce fall protection programs and elevated work activities
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
- Deliver new hire orientations and ongoing safety training
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and pre-task plans
- Maintain safety documentation and compliance records
- Partner with field supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
- Promote a positive safety culture across the project
Required Qualifications
β 5 years of construction safety experience
β Structural steel construction safety experience
β Experience supporting steel erection activities
β Experience with crane operations, rigging, and fall protection
β OSHA 30 Certification
Preferred Qualifications
β Airport or aviation construction experience
β OSHA 510 Certification
β CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential
β Large commercial or industrial construction experience
