  • Monitor electrical safe work practices, including lockout/tagout, energized work controls, PPE, and temporary power

  • Investigate incidents, near misses, property damage, and unsafe conditions

  • Develop and track corrective actions through completion

  • Partner with field leadership to resolve safety concerns without unnecessarily disrupting production

Quality Control Management

  • Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific electrical QA/QC processes

  • Inspect electrical installations for compliance with plans, specifications, codes, and approved submittals

  • Verify installation quality throughout rough-in, equipment setting, terminations, testing, and commissioning

  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and inspection requirements

  • Identify nonconforming work and coordinate timely corrective action

  • Track deficiencies, punch-list items, inspections, and closeout documentation

  • Coordinate with project management, general contractors, inspectors, and subcontractors on quality-related issues

  • Verify that required tests, inspections, and documentation are completed and properly recorded

  • Support project turnover, commissioning, and final acceptance activities

Required Qualifications

Current NFPA 70E training or certification
Recognized electrical QA/QC credential, such as CEI, CQI, CQCM, or an equivalent certification
Minimum of 5 years of relevant construction safety or quality control experience
Direct experience supporting commercial electrical construction
Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and electrical safe work practices
Experience conducting inspections and reviewing electrical installation quality
Ability to manage safety and quality responsibilities simultaneously
Strong documentation, reporting, and corrective-action tracking skills
Ability to work full-time on-site in Naples, Florida

Preferred Experience

  • Long-term projects with multiple construction phases

  • Electrical testing, commissioning, and project closeout

  • Trimble, Procore, or similar construction management platforms

  • Coordination with general contractors, inspectors, and multiple subcontractors

  • Fast-paced projects requiring extended hours and schedule flexibility

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a confident field leader who understands that safety and quality are interconnected. This person can identify hazards, recognize deficient installations, communicate expectations clearly, and hold project teams accountable while maintaining productive working relationships.
