Job Title: Safety Manager
Location: Apple Grove, WV

Local: $50-$55/hr
Traveler: $47-$51/hr
Per Diem: $125/day (Travelers)
Pay Frequency: WeeklySchedule
Hours: 60 hours per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shift: Day ShiftProject Scope
This role supports an iron contractor on the construction of an industrial manufacturing facility. The scope includes steel fabrication and installation activities performed in a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment with multiple work crews on site.The Safety Manager will be responsible for maintaining and enforcing safety programs that align with client and site-specific requirements. This position requires strong field presence, documentation accuracy, and the ability to interface directly with the client and project leadership.The assignment is expected to run 3-4 months and will require consistent on-site oversight, workforce engagement, and proactive hazard identification to support safe execution of work.Qualifications
CHST certification
Minimum 5 years of safety experience in construction or industrial environments
Experience supporting iron, steel fabrication, or steel erection contractorsAdditional Requirements
Ability to manage and support a small safety staff
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Client-facing communication experience
Comfortable with digital platforms and data entry
Willingness to perform site visits as requestedKey Responsibilities
Construction safety management, ironwork safety, hazard analysis, fall protection, documentation control, workforce training, client communication, Procor data entryKnowledge Base

- Maintain and enforce site-specific safety programs
- Conduct and oversee toolbox talks and safety meetings
- Evaluate fall protection and other hazard control measures
- Ensure accurate safety documentation and reporting
- Perform data entry and tracking within Procor
- Interface with client representatives and project leadership
- Provide field oversight and site walkdowns as required
