We are seeking a detail-oriented Aftermarket Warranty Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for processing aftermarket warranty products, warranty cancellations, maintaining accurate records, reconciling F&I reserve statements, and back up managing CVR documentation. The ideal candidate will be organized, accurate, and capable of managing multiple administrative tasks within a fast-paced automotive environment.
Responsibilities
- Submit new aftermarket warranty contracts and related vehicle protection products.
- Process warranty and service contract cancellations accurately and timely.
- Maintain detailed records of all warranty submissions, cancellations, and payments.
- Review and reconcile F&I reserve statements.
- Track and report reserve income discrepancies and follow up as needed.
- Manage and maintain CVR (Computerized Vehicle Registration) backup documentation.
- Ensure all required documents are complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies.
- Communicate with customers, lenders, product providers, state agencies, and dealership personnel regarding warranty and registration matters.
- Prepare reports and provide administrative support to management.
- Assist with audits and record retention requirements.
- Perform other related administrative duties as assigned.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of automotive dealership experience in warranty administration, F&I administration, title work, accounting, or a related role.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial and customer information confidentially.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
