📱 We're Hiring: Social Media & Content Intern (Fall 2026) at SHE MD!

SHE MD is looking for a creative, proactive, and detail-oriented Social Media & Content Intern to join our growing team for Fall 2026.

SHE MD is a leading women's health podcast dedicated to empowering women through trusted medical conversations, expert insights, and meaningful storytelling. Hosted by world-renowned OB-GYN Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi and Mary Alice Haney, SHE MD brings together leading physicians, experts, and inspiring guests to make women's health education more accessible.

As a Social Media & Content Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience creating and executing content for a fast-growing media brand. Working closely with our team, you'll help bring SHE MD's digital presence to life across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Substack, and affiliate platforms while learning every stage of the content creation process—from idea generation and production to publishing, community engagement, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Substack, and affiliate platforms
• Capturing behind-the-scenes content, b-roll, photography, and social-first content during podcast recordings, content shoots, events, and other on-location opportunities
• Filming and editing short-form videos, creating graphics and carousel posts, and producing platform-native content using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools
• Writing captions, scheduling content, maintaining content calendars, and organizing creative assets
• Brainstorming content ideas, researching trends, identifying guest, creator, and collaboration opportunities, and supporting audience growth
• Monitoring community engagement, tracking content performance, and helping optimize future content through analytics and reporting

We're looking for someone who is:

• Creative, highly driven, hardworking, and eager to learn
• Organized, proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Passionate about storytelling, digital media, social media, and women's health
• Proficient in CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere (or similar editing software)
• A strong writer, researcher, and communicator with excellent organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and taking initiative
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field (preferred)

This is a hybrid internship based in Los Angeles, California. 

Applicants should be located in the Los Angeles area and available to attend in-person podcast recordings, content shoots, meetings, and occasional events, with the remainder of the work completed remotely.
