Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Part-Time Lighting Showroom Sales to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with customers, has an eye for style, and thrives in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist showroom visitors, guiding them through lighting selections.
- Provide personalized design consultations and recommendations.
- Support sales by preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with vendors.
- Maintain showroom displays to ensure a welcoming, professional environment.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with builders, interior designers, and architects to grow trade business.
- Network within the design and construction community to drive new opportunities.
Qualifications
- Prior retail, sales, or design experience preferred (lighting or home décor a plus).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for design, home improvement, or interior styling.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including by appointment only evenings or Saturdays.
- Comfortable using basic computer systems (POS, order entry).
