Inventory Control Specialist (SAP)
This SOP aims to provide guidelines for efficient inventory management at Shcalo Group. Inventory Control Specialist oversees all inventory, including monitoring, and reporting.
1. Receiving and Inspection Warehouse Staff Handles receiving, storing, organizing. Warehouse staff receive shipments, inspect items for damage or discrepancies, documenting any issues, and notifying management.
2. Auditing and Cycle Counts Inventory Specialist monitors all incoming shipments after unloading specialists to placard pallets so they can be stored by warehouse staff. The Inventory Specialist Conduct regular audits and cycle counts, ranging from daily visual inspections to annual physical counts. Compare physical counts with system records and investigate any discrepancies, documenting their causes. Adjust inventory system records to match physical counts with approval.
3. Review and Updates This SOP should be reviewed and updated regularly (e.g., every 6 months) to ensure it remains accurate and effective, especially after changes to processes, systems, or regulations. The Inventory Manager is responsible for coordinating updates.
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage and optimize our inventory operations using SAP. This role is responsible for ensuring data accuracy within the system, overseeing stock movements, and performing regular audits to maintain high levels of inventory integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP Data Management: Perform all inventory transactions in SAP (MM/WM modules), including stock transfers, goods receipts, and issues. Inventory Auditing: Lead daily/weekly cycle counts and annual physical inventory, reconciling SAP records with physical stock to resolve discrepancies.
- Stock Monitoring: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking and generate SAP inventory reports for management review.
- Quality Control: Coordinate with the Quality and Procurement teams to manage rejected or blocked stock within the system.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and SAP workflow accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in SAP ERP (specifically MM/WM) is mandatory.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data sets using Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables) and SAP reporting tools.
- Certifications: APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is highly preferred.
- Education: Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Korean speaking preferred
