Shade Sail Installer and Service Technician – San Marcos, CA
Shazeebo Shade Sails is a specialty contractor in the San Diego area. We are a growing shade sail installation company seeking energetic Installers/Technicians to join our team. We are a culture-oriented team dedicated to providing the highest quality shade sails in the industry. We pride ourselves on being industry leaders in shade sail design, manufacturing, and installation, and we provide an unparalleled level of customer service to meet all of our clients’ needs. Our team is highly motivated and trained to use and install top of the line products with extreme skill, care, and precision, and we are looking for someone who can bring added value to the company with this role.
Technician - This an introductory position and depends on experience level. You will learn how to assist the Installer with layout, excavation, concrete placement, post placement, bracket installation, and fabric installation. Expected pay range of $18-20 per hour.
Requirements:
- Some experience in construction preferred
- Customer service oriented
- Operate a company vehicle
- Capable of working in sun or other weather conditions throughout the day
- Handle and move large equipment, tools, & hardware with care
- Clean driving record is a must
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Working cleanly and efficiently while maintaining a safe jobsite
- Cleaning up jobsites at the end of the day, including all material and debris
- Work with the installation team and complete any necessary construction tasks to securely install posts, assemble components, and install fabric shadings.
- Ability to dig, lift up to 75 pounds, climb, and use hand and power tools.
- Ability to work with installation teams.
- Be a problem solver, with the ability to think outside the box.
- Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Dig holes at least 3’ deep and 2’ wide.
- Use large machinery and equipment such as augers, jack hammers, and drills
- Move heavy materials like bags of concrete and steel posts
- Install brackets to buildings
- Installation of shade sails
