Shazam! Computers (Waterford, WI) is seeking an experienced freelance/independent contractor to assist with periodic, project-based data recovery and advanced PC repair work.
This is as-needed, contract work — not a full-time or part-time employee position.
Typical Projects Include:
- Logical data recovery (deleted, formatted, corrupted volumes)
- Physical drive imaging and stabilization
- RAID / SSD / NVMe troubleshooting
- Advanced Windows OS repair and rebuilds
Requirements:
- Proven hands-on experience with data recovery and advanced diagnostics
- Own tools and recovery software preferred
- Ability to work independently and document work performed
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to provide W-9 and valid tax ID
Compensation:
- Per-job or per-project basis
