Shawnee Health is seeking a Case Manager Assistant for our Shawnee Health Shawnee Alliance Carterville office. This position reports directly to the Administrative Social Services Supervisor.

Shawnee Health is seeking a Case Manager Assistant for our Shawnee Health Shawnee Alliance Carterville office. This position reports directly to the Administrative Social Services Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Answers telephones, provides information on services, takes Messages and transmits messages to appropriate personnel in a timely manner. Projects self in a caring, helping manner at all times.
- Meets and greets the public in person and by telephone. Interacts with outside agencies regularly.
- Conducts Intake interviews utilizing program specific Intake forms and processes.
- Verifies participant’s status in State of Illinois data base prior to assessment authorization when necessary.
- Maintains filing system on a daily basis including file set up, cross referencing, terminating and purging files.
- Copies and mails pertinent documents.
- Provides administrative management of participant services including provider and participant specific issues.
- Performs data entry into assigned data base. Attends in-service and required training sessions both locally and out-of-area.
- A training course in business office procedures/ secretarial duties with excellent communication skills both written and verbal required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in business/office management preferred
- Must have general knowledge of office equipment operation and competent in the use of computers.
