FRONT DESK AGENT JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing all check-in and check-out tasks
- Managing online and phone reservations
- Informing guests about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Registering guests by collecting necessary information (e.g. contact details, exact dates of their stay)
- Welcoming guests upon their arrival and assigning rooms
- Providing information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
- Responding to guests' complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Ensuring timely and accurate customer service in a professional manner
- Troubleshooting emergencies
- Ensuring the hotel's policies and security requirements are met
- Providing excellent guest service, including guests' special requests or requirements
- Maintaining working relationships and communicating well with all departments
- Maintaining master key control
- Verifying that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated
- Liaising with our Housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to accommodate guests' needs
- Maintaining updated records of bookings and payments Addressing guests' queries (e.g. on additional services or requests)
- Following all cash-handling policies
- Helping guests retrieve Lost and Found items
- Wearing the proper uniform at all times Upholding the hotel's commitment to hospitality
- Ensuring the adherence to hotel brand standards at all times
- Performing other duties as requested by management

FRONT DESK AGENT JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal essential
- Ability to work in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills and a professional manner
- Flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Working knowledge of rooms management systems and advanced knowledge of Front Desk operations process and procedures
- The capability of using independent judgment/solid decisions making skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to details
- Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
- A passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service and optimal levels of room cleanliness
- Proficiency with computers and computer programs
- Fluency in a second language is a plus (Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Hindi, etc.)
- Must be able to work Night shift (3pm -9pm) shifts
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
