Information Security AI Architect

Shaw Systems is accelerating its secure AI transformation — and we’re hiring an Information Security AI Architect to lead the design of our next‑generation, secure, compliant, and scalable AI ecosystem.

In this role, you will architect the guardrails, governance, and data‑protection frameworks that enable safe enterprise adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot, LLMs, AI agents, and intelligent automation. You’ll own our Purview‑driven AI governance strategy, implement data ring‑fencing, and ensure all AI workloads operate within trusted boundaries.

This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for someone who can blend security architecture, AI governance, and enterprise productivity enablement.

• Design secure architectures for Microsoft 365 Copilot, LLMs, RAG pipelines, and autonomous AI agents.
• Define identity boundaries, access controls, and safe‑use guardrails for AI systems.
• Establish governance for prompt security, input/output filtering, and responsible AI patterns.
• Ensure all AI workloads operate within approved network zones and data boundaries.

• Implement ring‑fencing strategies to prevent sensitive data from leaving trusted environments.
• Design network segmentation, private endpoints, and isolation zones for AI workloads.
• Enforce policy‑controlled access for Copilot, LLMs, vector stores, and AI agents.
• Build automated controls using DLP, egress filtering, and Purview enforcement.

• Lead secure enterprise adoption of Copilot across the organization.
• Identify high‑value use cases that drive measurable productivity and workflow optimization.
• Develop Copilot usage frameworks, success metrics, and ROI reporting.
• Ensure Copilot respects sensitivity labels, retention policies, and governance rules.

• Lead architecture reviews for AI‑enabled applications and agent‑based automation.

• Implement monitoring for Copilot usage, LLM interactions, and agent actions.
• Automate governance checks using Purview, Azure Policy, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Continuously evaluate emerging AI threats and best practices.

• 7 years in information security, cloud architecture, or data governance.
• 2 years hands‑on AI implementation or architecture experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Purview, Azure security, and cloud governance.
• Deep understanding of LLMs, RAG architectures, AI agents, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Proven ability to drive business value through Copilot adoption and workflow optimization.
• Expertise in identity, access management, data protection, and secure cloud architecture.
• Experience implementing ring‑fencing, segmentation, and data‑boundary controls.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

• Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent.
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms, vector databases, or MLOps pipelines.
• Knowledge of AI observability, model risk management, and responsible AI frameworks.
• Background in data architecture, automation engineering, or enterprise integration.
