Predictable Leadership Schedule
- 4‑day workweek designed for stronger work‑life balance
- Consistent, fixed schedules (Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat) — no rotating shifts
- (Subject to change depending on operational need)
- 2 PM or 3 PM start times aligned with peak operational flow
- Staggered starts to enhance team coverage, communication, and execution
Main Responsibilities
- Processes store returns and returns to vendors using proper Company policies.
- Coordinates with Inventory Control associates regarding slotting, product rotation and space allocation.
- Conducts daily crew meeting to discuss safety, productivity and accuracy.
- Communicates with Transportation on the flow and receipt of backhauls.
- Supervises scheduling of inbound load appointments.
- Responsible for, sign for, sort and distribute inbound, overnight carrier and mail service deliveries.
- Walks warehouse daily, with Superintendent, to ensure that safety, security, sanitation and pest control codes, laws, and policies and government regulations are maintained.
- Ensures the most economical and efficient use of equipment and personnel to accomplish assigned work.
- Strong general knowledge of shipping and warehouse operations, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret computerized reports.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency; experience with word processing and spreadsheets is helpful.
