Self Storage and Real Estate Maintenance Technician
We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our team part time at one of our self storage properties. All you need is a positive attitude and the desire to learn! Successful candidates can come from a variety of service-based companies. We look for candidates who has a positive personality with a passion for helping people and real estate operations and has the desire to grow with our company.
You will be responsible for weekly cleaning and maintenance operations including to properties:
· Walk around the facility and check for lock issues and properties damages;
· Ensure the facility meets the highest of cleanliness standards by cleaning units, dusting, sweeping, and mopping;
· Ensure all work order and repair requests are processed in a timely fashion;
· Manage and coordinate facility and company projects;
· Able to use a lock cutter and grinder to cut locks (as needed);
· Other real estate related duties as assigned.
Skills:
· Strong communication and customer services skills; be comfortable calling customers, vendors, and business contacts;
· Have good work ethics and can work independently (and unsupervised) as well as part of a team;
· Proactive and take initiative and strong follow through until tasks are completed;
· Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, google email, and Google Drive;
Candidate must:
· Have a high school diploma.
· Be available to work approximately 5-7 hours per week (between 9 am – 5 pm). Be available to work one weekend day if needed.
· Be at least 18 years old;
· Have a valid driver’s license and good driving record;
· Clean background check.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
