Position Overview
Shaw Industries is searching for a third shift Tufting Supervisor to lead a safe, efficient, and productive work environment to satisfy our customers' (both internal and external) requirements and improve the overall abilities of all employees through the demonstration of Shaw's Front Line Leadership Competencies.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily shift operation of the at Plant 4.
- Must lead the shift in safety, quality, production, and cost.
- To be successful as Supervisor, a candidate must be able to: solve problems; provide direction; coach associates; hold the team accountable; effectively communicate with peers and management; continuously drive departmental improvements.
- The Supervisor plans shift production using TMS3, Shop Flex, and Microsoft 365, coordinating with other departments to meet customer demands.
- The Supervisor monitors the Head's Up Display screen to monitor process status.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Previous experience in manufacturing required.
- Previous experience as Lead, Fill-In Supervisor or Supervisor within the most recent 5 years preferred
- Carpet Tufting Experience preferred.
