Position Overview

We are seeking a Hybrid Human Resources & Safety Manager to support a growing manufacturing and mining services organization. This role combines HR administration and workforce support with hands-on safety and compliance leadership across multiple plants and field locations.

The position works closely with the corporate leadership team, including Accounting, Director of Operations, Director of Manufacturing, and Managing Director, and partners with plant and site managers to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for manufacturing and mining service employees
  • Assist with recruitment using online platforms (posting, screening, interview coordination)
  • Maintain employee records, training files, and compliance documentation
  • Support leadership with employee relations and HR-related documentation

Safety & Compliance

  • Serve as Safety Manager across manufacturing plants and mining service sites
  • Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, and DOT regulations
  • Work with site and plant managers to implement safety programs and training
  • Maintain safety records, training logs, inspections, and incident reports
  • Lead incident investigations and corrective actions

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in manufacturing, mining services, industrial safety, or HR
  • Strong knowledge of MSHA (required), OSHA, and DOT compliance
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in both office and field/plant environments

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
