Dental Hygienist – Full-Time or Part-Time
Location: Juneau, Alaska

Responsibilities
- Provide relaxing and thorough dental cleanings, prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Apply fluoride treatments and other preventive materials
- Assess patients’ oral health, chart findings, and report to the dentist
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention
- Review and update medical/dental histories
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile treatment area
- Administer local anesthesia (if certified and permitted under Alaska regulations)
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver excellent patient care
Requirements
- Current Alaska Dental Hygienist license (or ability to obtain one promptly)
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current CPR certification
- Strong clinical skills and excellent chairside manner
- Ability to work independently under general supervision while being a true team player
- Preferred: Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records; local anesthesia certification
