Position Overview

Reliability Tech Lead- Twisting

Overview

Lead maintenance operations in the Twisting Department to ensure equipment reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Supervise daily activities, mentor team members, and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist with equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
• Maintain mechanical systems (power transmission, motors, gearboxes) and hydraulic/pneumatic controls etc.
• Execute condition maintenance and develop job plans from PM/PdM findings.
• Mentor Reliability Techs (Levels D–B) and ensure staff training in SOP compliance.
• Execute assigned or scheduled work orders in support of projects and process improvement (PI) efforts identified as critical to business objectives with direction of the Twisting Department Manager
• Support safety initiatives and coordinate training.
• Manage parts ordering and SHARP system usage.
• Communicate with supervisors and organize work across shifts, including weekends/holidays.
• Adhere to a normal work schedule, but flexible enough to communicate with all the shifts (nights and days) and be able to work weekends and holidays as required.
  
  

Requirements

• Knowledge of safety practices (LOTO, PPE, Confined Space, etc.).
• Advanced fabrication and project execution skills.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and develop solutions.
• Strong math, mechanical schematic interpretation, and troubleshooting skills.

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
