Overview
Busy barbershop looking for a licensed barber to join the shop. We are closed Sundays and Mondays, you'll be given a key and have free rein on services. Barber needs an understanding in designs, tapers, fades, and a working attitude. Shave-n-a-Haircut is an environment for families, drama free and very busy most days.

Duties

• Perform haircuts, shaves, design, burst, tapers, and beard trims using various techniques, including straight razor methods.
• Provide hair styling services tailored to individual client preferences and trends.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
• Having a full consultation with new clients to understand all hair needs.
• Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere within the shop.

Skills

• Proficient in straight razor techniques and traditional barbering skills.
• Experience in hair styling with a keen eye for current trends.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Knowledge of retail sales practices to effectively promote products.
• Familiarity with software for appointment management and client records.
• Ability to sanitize tools and maintain a clean working environment consistently.

Pay

• Booth rent is $550 a month or $137.50 due every Saturday
• 1 year contract
• Option for commissions is available on approval during interview
• Barber will be encouraged to get a card reader and we will assist with getting them their own webpage and connect it to the Shavenahaircut.com website
