Cannabis Production Team Member (Kitchen Setting)

Job Overview: Shattered Thoughts is seeking motivated, detail-oriented individuals to join our Gummy Production Team in a kitchen-style manufacturing environment. As part of this team, you'll play an essential role in producing high-quality, cannabis-infused gummies for both our brand and our white-label partners. This is a hands-on role that involves food-safe handling, consistent workflows, and maintaining strict compliance standards.

You will rotate or specialize in a variety of tasks within the gummy production process. No previous cannabis industry experience is required—just a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, clean kitchen setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Gummy Depositing

• Operate a semi-automatic gummy dispenser to accurately fill molds with liquid gummy solution.

• Ensure consistent fill levels and maintain batch accuracy.

2. Demolding

• Use a non-electric press demolder to safely and efficiently remove set gummies from their molds.

• Inspect products for any inconsistencies or defects during the process.

3. Sugaring

• Hand-coat gummies using a precise mixture of citric acid, sugar, and powdered sugar.

• Maintain quality control over coating consistency, texture, and visual appeal.

• Understand and apply specific ratios depending on product type.

4. Racking and Curing

• Evenly place sugared gummies on trays for additional curing.

• Ensure proper spacing and organization to facilitate airflow and uniform curing.

• Track batches and rotate trays according to curing timelines.

5. Cleaning & Sanitation

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout your shift.

• Follow food-safe cleaning procedures before and after production.

• Assist in end-of-day deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled.

6. Compliance & Safety

• Adhere strictly to internal SOPs and state cannabis manufacturing regulations.

• Wear proper PPE and follow all facility safety protocols.

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

• Comfortable working in a kitchen or food production environment

• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

• Able to work both independently and as part of a team

• Punctual, consistent, and reliable

• Comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks

• Experience in food service, manufacturing, or cannabis production is a plus but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable with repetitive motions (pouring, racking, demolding)

• Ability to stand and move for the entirety of the shift

Compensation:

• Starting at 16.50 per hour, depending on experience
