We are seeking a full-time Linux System Engineer to join our team in Irvine, CA, in an on-site capacity. In this role, you will perform Linux system administration duties, including deploying, configuring, and maintaining servers. You will troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues, oversee system security, manage infrastructure, and develop automation scripts to improve operational efficiency. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system performance and reliability is integral to the role.
- Proficiency in Linux System Administration and general System Administration
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Experience with scripting, including shell scripting and other relevant languages
- Knowledge of infrastructure management and optimization
- Familiarity with network protocols, system security, and monitoring tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Relevant certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, or LPIC are a plus
