Responsibilities
Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding, CA, a member of the esteemed Prime Healthcare system, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Director/Clinical Physician to join our team. This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the delivery of high-quality medical care within our community.
Position Summary
The Medical Director/Clinical Physician is responsible for the coordination and oversight of all medical care and quality of services provided at the clinic. This position will serve as a member of the Medical Management Staff and will collaborate with the Leadership team, to ensure consistent quality of care to patients of the clinic by quality goals. The Medical Director/Clinical Physician will also provide delivery of medical services to their own panel of patients of the clinic in a primary care environment as well as being a part of the GME and teaching of residents.
The salary of the Medical Director/Clinical Physician may differ depending on experience and qualifications, but benefits may include a Salary Package of $350,000 to $400,000 annually, CME, health insurance, 401K and malpractice insurance coverage.

Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $350,000-400,000. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.

- Sign-on bonus - $50,000, bonus package
- 3-5 years work experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
- Graduate of a University/Program with a Doctorate Degree of Medicine or Osteopathic– MD or DO
- Current California Medical License – MD or DO
- Unrestricted Current DEA Registration
- Current California Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance Certificate of Registration
- Current medical staff member at Shasta Regional Medical Center or meets all credentialing
- 2 years Medical Director experience preferred
