About Sharpen
Sharpen Agency Cleaning Services LLC is a growing residential and commercial cleaning company serving Philadelphia and surrounding communities throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey.
We are building more than a cleaning company—we are building a recognizable local brand known for professionalism, reliability, exceptional service, and strong community relationships.
As Sharpen continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated, creative, and highly organized Community Brand Manager to lead our grassroots marketing efforts and help establish Sharpen as a highly visible and trusted cleaning brand throughout the communities we serve.
About the Role
The Community Brand Manager will lead Sharpen's local brand presence, community marketing initiatives, events, and Brand Ambassador team.
This is a hands-on leadership position.
You will not simply develop marketing ideas—you will help execute them.
The Community Brand Manager will identify high-value marketing opportunities, coordinate Sharpen's participation in home shows, expos, festivals, networking events, and community events, manage and develop Brand Ambassadors, establish local partnerships, generate leads, and ensure Sharpen receives measurable value from its grassroots marketing investments.
You will work closely with Sharpen's leadership, sales, operations, and marketing resources to turn local brand awareness into qualified leads, appointments, customers, partnerships, and long-term business growth.
The ideal candidate combines the energy of a Brand Ambassador with the organization, accountability, and leadership abilities of a manager.
What You'll Do
Brand Ambassador Leadership
- Lead, coach, schedule, and support Sharpen's Community Marketing & Brand Ambassadors.
- Help recruit and onboard new Brand Ambassadors as the team grows.
- Train Brand Ambassadors on Sharpen's services, brand standards, customer experience expectations, promotions, and lead-generation strategies.
- Develop clear expectations and goals for Brand Ambassadors before each event or campaign.
- Assign Brand Ambassadors to events, campaigns, neighborhoods, and community initiatives based on business needs.
- Monitor Brand Ambassador attendance, professionalism, productivity, and performance.
- Provide coaching and feedback to improve individual and team performance.
- Create a positive, energetic, accountable, and results-oriented team culture.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Brand Ambassadors during assigned events and campaigns.
Events & Field Marketing
- Research and identify home shows, expos, festivals, networking events, community events, sponsorship opportunities, and other local marketing opportunities.
- Recommend which events Sharpen should prioritize based on audience, geography, cost, and potential return on investment.
- Coordinate Sharpen's participation in approved events.
- Manage event registrations, vendor requirements, staffing plans, schedules, supplies, promotional materials, and booth preparation.
- Ensure Sharpen's booth and event presence are professional, engaging, organized, and consistent with company standards.
- Develop interactive promotions, giveaways, contests, demonstrations, and other strategies designed to attract attendees and generate leads.
- Attend priority events and actively support Brand Ambassadors in the field.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during events and ensure the team has the resources necessary to succeed.
- Conduct post-event reviews to determine what worked, what did not, and what should change for future events.
Community Marketing & Partnerships
- Develop Sharpen's grassroots and community marketing strategy.
- Identify opportunities to increase Sharpen's visibility throughout targeted neighborhoods and communities.
- Build relationships with local businesses, community organizations, chambers of commerce, neighborhood organizations, and other potential partners.
- Develop referral and partnership opportunities with real estate professionals, property managers, apartment communities, HOAs, senior communities, local businesses, and other organizations aligned with Sharpen's target customers.
- Identify opportunities for local sponsorships and community involvement.
- Help Sharpen become a recognizable and trusted presence throughout the communities we serve.
- Develop creative campaigns that increase awareness without relying exclusively on paid digital advertising.

Responsibilities include:

- Identify opportunities to strengthen Sharpen's local reputation and visibility.
- Gather customer and community feedback that can help improve Sharpen's services and marketing.

- Comfortable using technology, CRM systems, spreadsheets, digital forms, QR codes, and social media.
- Available for evenings and weekends when events require it.

Schedule
This is a part-time position with hours based on business and event needs.
The schedule will vary depending on marketing campaigns, community activities, Brand Ambassador staffing, and scheduled events.
Because many home shows, festivals, expos, and community events occur during evenings and weekends, evening and weekend availability is required.
This is primarily a field-based position and requires traveling throughout Sharpen's local service area.

Leadership Opportunity
Sharpen is a growing organization, and this position has the potential to grow with the company.
A successful Community Brand Manager may eventually have opportunities to develop into expanded positions such as:
Community Brand Manager → Senior Community Brand Manager → Regional Marketing Manager → Director of Community Marketing / Brand & Growth
Future opportunities will depend on company growth, organizational needs, and individual performance.
Why Join Sharpen?
Joining Sharpen at this stage provides an opportunity to help build something rather than simply inherit an established marketing program.
You will have meaningful influence over how Sharpen shows up in the community, which events we attend, how our Brand Ambassador program operates, which partnerships we pursue, and how we develop our local brand.
We are looking for someone who wants ownership, responsibility, creativity, and the opportunity to see the direct impact of their work.
If you are a natural leader who loves people, marketing, events, community engagement, and building brands—and you are excited about helping develop a growing local company—we would love to hear from you.
