What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Therapist position at Sharp Wellness?
Sharp Wellness is growing! We are a collaborative group practice originally based in Texas, now proudly expanding with our second office in the Birmingham area. We are seeking a part-time to full-time therapist to join our supportive and dynamic team in providing high-quality counseling services.
We are a multi-specialty practice serving high-functioning children, adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, and families presenting with a wide range of clinical needs. Our clinicians work in a private practice setting that values autonomy, professional growth, and excellent client care.
We are seeking fully licensed therapists (LPC, LMFT) as well as provisionally licensed or associate-level clinicians (ALC, LMFT-A) to provide individual and group therapy. Ideal candidates are comfortable working with kids, teens, and young adults, in addition to their areas of specialty. Applicants must be willing to see clients both in person and through Telehealth. Licensure in Alabama is required.
Sharp Wellness operates as a hybrid private-pay and insurance-based practice using an employment model. Compensation is structured as a percentage split for billable hours along with a monthly commission.
