About the role

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to our team and provides a platform for your professional growth and development.

Shift: First Shift – 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Overtime: Saturdays as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding on steel and aluminum alloys
• Weld plate and tube components to aerospace-quality standards
• Set up and operate shop equipment including band saws, grinders, sanders, and other fabrication tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
• Measure and inspect parts using a tape measure and basic inspection tools
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow established fabrication, safety, and quality procedures

Qualifications

• Proficient in GTAW and GMAW welding processes
• Experience welding various steel and aluminum alloys
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate hand and shop tools
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Familiar with AWS D1.1, D1.2, and D17.1 weld acceptance criteria
• Familiar with aerospace fabrication practices
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Strong attention to detail and quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior aerospace or precision manufacturing experience
• Experience working to tight tolerances
• Familiarity with inspection and documentation requirements

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Shop environment with exposure to noise, heat, and welding fumes
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
• Must be reliable and able to work scheduled hours, including overtime when needed

Pay Rate and Benefits

• Pay Rate dependent on qualifications
