Assistant Property Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our property management team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a solid understanding of property management practices. This role involves assisting in managing tenant relations, maintaining property standards, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.

Duties

• Assist in managing tenant communications and addressing any concerns or conflicts that arise, utilizing effective conflict management strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and files related to property management activities, ensuring all documentation is organized and up-to-date.
• Utilize Yardi software for property management tasks, including tracking rent payments and managing tenant information.
• Support the leasing process by conducting property showings and assisting with lease agreements.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests and upkeep of property standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, fostering positive relationships and enhancing tenant satisfaction.
• Stay informed about local real estate laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all property management activities.
• Assist in administrative tasks related to real estate operations, including legal administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
• Strong customer relationship management skills with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
• Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of real estate laws and regulations is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with tenants and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in office administrative tasks, including filing and record keeping.
